TEACHER PROFICIENCY DEVELOPMENT WITH WORKING AT HOME
At present the whole world is facing a big problem. A pandemic decease
named COVID-19 is ruling the world very rudely. As this is a pandemic
decease more people are infected with the virus and many have lost
their lives also. This decease spreads from human to human by contact.
Infected person sends the virus to environment by sneezing or coughing.
This virus enters others body through mouth,nose or eyes. High Fever, cough,sneezing and body ache are the symptoms of this decease.
In order to stay away and stay safe from this decease one has to
1.Maintain physical distance from others.
2.Wear mask covering nose and mouth.
3.Wash hands with soap regularly.
In order to maintain social distance many private institutions and Govt
institutions offered their employees the previlage of working from
home. Karnataka state government also ordered all teachers to work
from home.
Being teachers can we develop our proficiency by working at home?
Yes. Let us have a glance on the point how working from home or staying
at home may develop teachers' proficiency.
1. We remain at home and have more time to read more books related
to education.
2. We can read the news papers in detail to increase general knowledge.
3. We can learn how to use multimedia in the classroom.
4. We can prepare TLMs for next academic year.
5. We can think of innovative activities for our students.
6. We can have phone conversation with other teachers to discuss the
problems that we face in any topic.
7. We can watch videos on you tube to enhance our knowledge.
This way being teachers we can develop our proficiency by working
at home.
